Circuit Makers 101 Online (Grades 1-3)
Circuit Lab will be running this virtual program via Zoom meeting. All students will need to have the zoom app installed on their computer prior to the class to connect to the meeting link. Participants will get the Zoom links and supply distribution information about one week before the program starts. The cost of the program is $130/participant. An additional rental deposit of $53 in the form of a check made payable to "Circuit Lab" will be due upon pick-up of supplies. If supplies are returned in good condition, the deposit check will be given back.
Please note that in order to participate in this virtual program, participants will need either a PC or a Mac, Chromebook, iPad, etc. The program instructor will be available for 30 minutes "office time" after the end of each day to help with additional learning and project troubleshooting as needed.
Let’s get creative with electricity! In this junior hands-on electronics class, students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and more. Each class day consists of a circuitry lesson and hands-on electronics projects, using components like wires, lights, switches, and motors. Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create many projects that they can be proud of, and each class day includes a project to keep.
